“To make an image gallery or not is the question I ask myself after every visit to Delhi...except this time.”

Every time I visit Delhi I ask myself this question. I end up taking a lot of pictures and it is not possible to put them up all on the blog for two reasons. One is the one-pic-a-da format I have and the other is the fact that a lot of the images are not very good quality and on their own they wouldn’t be worthwhile but will look nice if presented with a bunch of other images. Another advantage of creating an image gallery of a visit to any place is that it allows one to show the place from one's own eye and perspective, somewhat like a guided tour.

In the past I have made two galleries of my visit to Delhi and I am quite pleased with the one for my visit earlier this year as it covers everything right from boarding a plane from Bombay to what happened in Delhi to landing back in Bombay.

I was thinking that I would be facing the same situation this time as well and more than last time as the visit was not limited to Delhi but included Nangal as well and I had my new Lumix FZ50 with me too. I had taken 1.5 GB worth of memory cards with me to store pictures plus rewritable CDs if they are required. The events during the holidays ensured that I don't spend too much time taking pictures. I had to rush to Nangal, as the condition of my mom-in-law got quite serious.

During most of my holidays I didn't even touch my camera. I just took some images I wanted for my folio site plus some more that you will see on Picturejockey.
